I am the Earth

I am the Earth, damaged and hurt
waiting for the indigo birth
your footprints tender on my soul
like gentle petals fall on snow
your thoughts surround me, touch and astound me
lighting up the darkest sky
no longer will you wonder why
You are me as I am you
we are one
we are truth
there are many of you, special beings
love and light and special healings
awaken now, rise up for me
this is the last chance, you see
waiting for the indigo birth
your footprints tender on my soul
like gentle petals fall on snow
your thoughts surround me, touch and astound me
lighting up the darkest sky
no longer will you wonder why
You are me as I am you
we are one
we are truth
there are many of you, special beings
love and light and special healings
awaken now, rise up for me
this is the last chance, you see

Blessed are the Sacred Trees
Blessed are the ancient trees
Sacred, wise, strong and free
breath of life or a branch to share
sheltering souls in depths of despair
all-giving, all-knowing
years of wisdom, growing, growing
solid, strong yet fragile beauty
basking in nature's tranquility
embracing storms with ease of grace
trees create their sacred place
bending, twisting creaking, speaking
whispering of past-times meetings
aspen, oak, elder, pine
embrace a tree and feel divine

Raven
Look deep inside and deeper still,
where flowers path a melting hill,
climbing high, sunshine bright...
then sliding down the path, no light!
willowy trees, lean and bend
brittle breaking branches end,
grasp and cling, clutch and claw
hurting every inch and more
does it stop or does it start,
will it stop my beating heart?
mindfull still and watching on
the raven rasps a haunted song
tread ye merry, tread ye must
only fly the path ye trust
where flowers path a melting hill,
climbing high, sunshine bright...
then sliding down the path, no light!
willowy trees, lean and bend
brittle breaking branches end,
grasp and cling, clutch and claw
hurting every inch and more
does it stop or does it start,
will it stop my beating heart?
mindfull still and watching on
the raven rasps a haunted song
tread ye merry, tread ye must
only fly the path ye trust

Is Truth the Path to Peace?
Imagine a world where individuls are true to themselves....
...and they learn something from each moment, seeing the truth of their actions and self-improve on a daily basis, making a concious effort to make positive connections throughout their day.
...and they learn something from each moment, seeing the truth of their actions and self-improve on a daily basis, making a concious effort to make positive connections throughout their day.
Imagine a society of people who are truthful to each other and respect the need for trust. Believe in the power of three and 'do unto those as would have done unto thee'.
Elves do not fear one another, they live in truth, compassion and trust. We have despaired of the Humans destroying our mother earth, exploiting other Humans and species and have been waiting for the time to come back and be as one to begin the healing of humanity.
Peace is upon us and as 2012 draws near, Humans start to awaken, voices will be heard, ones that have not been listened to or heard before......and we will come....we have been here all along...
Peace is upon us and as 2012 draws near, Humans start to awaken, voices will be heard, ones that have not been listened to or heard before......and we will come....we have been here all along.......Humans and Elves will walk as one on the truthful path to peace...
In perfect love and perfect trust.
A New Era of Peace..?
After watching Barack Obama's inauguration speech, I am filled with new hope for America and indeed the rest of the world as he spoke these words.....
To the Muslim world, we seek a new way forward, based on mutual interest and mutual respect. To those leaders around the globe who seek to sow conflict, or blame their society's ills on the West - know that your people will judge you on what you can build, not what you destroy. To those who cling to power through corruption and deceit and the silencing of dissent, know that you are on the wrong side of history; but that we will extend a hand if you are willing to unclench your fist.

"For we know that our patchwork heritage is a strength, not a weakness. We are a nation of Christians and Muslims, Jews and Hindus - and non-believers. We are shaped by every language and culture, drawn from every end of this earth; and because we have tasted the bitter swill of civil war and segregation, and emerged from that dark chapter stronger and more united, we cannot help but believe that the old hatreds shall someday pass; that the lines of tribe shall soon dissolve; that as the world grows smaller, our common humanity shall reveal itself; and that America must play its role in ushering in a new era of peace.
To the people of poor nations, we pledge to work alongside you to make your farms flourish and let clean waters flow; to nourish starved bodies and feed hungry minds. And to those nations like ours that enjoy relative plenty, we say we can no longer afford indifference to suffering outside our borders; nor can we consume the world's resources without regard to effect. For the world has changed, and we must change with it."
My only hope is that he is able to do what he claims he can do. In the UK, we are still waiting for a leader of change and peace....I hope that soon this day will come.
